I've recently began attempting my own repairs and learning to mend (mostly from my girlfriend), and I've really been enjoying it. Does anyone else do repairs on their own clothes?

Here are a few of projects I've worked in the last couple of months.

Patchwork on a WW2 hbt cap:

A couple of tears on my favorite shirt, a stevedore from CXXVI:

An ongoing project on this Tellason Coverall jacket:

My first attempt at shashiko. Much harder than it looks:

Not my handiwork, my girlfriend's co-worker mended the cuffs on my MF Pensacola Seaplane jacket:

Great work. I’d love to learn but just don’t have the time.
I want that Tellason jacket.

Thanks Shredwin! Sashiko isn't complicated it just takes a ton of patience and finger pricks. I love the jacket but don't think I'll ever be done repairing it.

This may just be proof that I have trouble letting things go, but this is a pair of Kapital socks I've had for 4 years or so. I'm starting to darn over other darned areas so these may be on their last leg.

I'll allow it, but only if they send me a goody bag from the collection.
