After being caught in the rain for 45 minutes (!!!) in my Miata, I can confidently say that you should get your shinki jackets wet. It gives it that crazy 3d look.
It feels great reaching jacket nirvana. I fucking love this jacket.

Hey Ben, What are the little rectangular metal studs on the epaulettes
used for? over the years ive seen some vintage Buco's with one per
shoulder like your J-24 some with two but spaced wide apart, some with
two sitting next to each other and some with non at all, but ive never known
what the reason for them? They look functional rather than decorative.

Thanks for the kind words Librarian, Johnb, and Aries.
Ben, that jacket is super dope. I can back you up on that. I have gotten my RMC A2 wet a couple nights in a row and it looked better afterward.

To be honest 00 I have no clue. I would like to add a fur collar... they might have something to do with that.

Ben’s pics are seriously tempting me towards grabbing a buco j-24L. Anyone got one/tried one on? I’m generally a size 17/44 in shirts/N1 jacket from RMC, wondering if I take the same or size up?

Mine's just a j-24, not a j-24l. Do you really want the longer length? Personally I think the J-24 cut is perfect everywhere.
I think you'd probably be a 44... mine is a 40 and in my opinion it fits like a slim medium. I'm a 40 in flat head too. You should get it it'd look dope on you
