Looks more bronze than green in the Soen pics, haha
I had the same problem with the olive moleskin aviator’s trousers, which are my fav at the moment and look different evertime I look at them depending on the light.. |

The new Jackson is the same material as the Strang - I think these are fairly representative of the fabric, but as others have said it’s a difficult one to photograph and changes significantly with the light source |

As per previous posts I’m generally in favour of buying the same size in FW shirts across the board, but do the Brakehead flannels run particularly small? The measurements for the indigo and yellow in size 17 are 5cm smaller in the chest and shoulders and 2cm shorter in the sleeve than for the size 17 Neal in indigo check.

While I’m at it, does anyone have experience with the current M-1942 trousers? If so, thoughts? Thanks!

All similar tagged bakeheads should end up about the same size. Where are you getting your measurements from?
What’s the real question you need answered about the 42s? |

Thanks as always, Duke. In that case, are Brakeheads significantly slimmer than Neals in general? I have the indigo and white pepper Chambray Neals in a size 17, as well as the beige Skagit also in a 17, and all fit well. The only outlier in my FW shirt collection is the wool/cotton Neal which I got in 17.5 to wear a long sleeve tee under, but in hindsight I possibly should have bought a 17 as it is quite blousey through the waist. However, the measurements for the Brakehead received from Klamp seem much slimmer and shorter in the sleeves than all my current shirts.
Re the 42’s, good point regarding the vagueness of my question. I guess what I’m getting at is this: if one was after a pair of HBT chinos what makes these a compelling option. I’m not sure how I feel about them (from photos) already looking a bit aged when compared with say the Timeworn Clothing option. Does the aging look more natural over time? |
