just gave them a wash and hung them up to dry , seems to have shrank a fair bit but im sure there is still a little more shrinkage left in the denim

Glad to hear it. Interesting you refer to it as a coat vs a sweater. Must be seriously heavy.

It's actually called a 1920s Style 'Turned Down Collar' Sweater Coat ... pretty snappy huh? So anyway I guess then it is a coat - but it is heavy, almost 4lbs (1.7kg).
