Thanks guys
Doc, that’s actually an older pic (I’m posting both new and old - catching up I suppose) so those 51s are now well past that stage - and well done for identifying ... no fooling an old fox like you |

Jesus, is that S-8 jacket based on an actual archival pattern? Looks like a hybrid with those big Highballer pockets and the round N-1 collar (mouth waters)

It’s loosely based on the WEP G-8 |

@Duke ahh, makes sense. Almost wish they had left the wool collar.
@SLAB2 Is there a navy version?! I'd prefer something darker than the jungle cloth

Just buy a G-8 then
There’s a Khaki Beige and a Navy version, both in ‘vintage jungle cloth’ - and both colours come plain or with stencils and patches (Black Cats) |

It's a good thing FW doesn't actually supply garments to the military. My deck jacket has been flapping open in the wind for a good chunk of the winter after the zipper breaking for the second time and all of the buttons popping off again. This time I had the work done elsewhere.....
