Hi, everyone! I'm new here, long time interested in denim. Hopefully I can get involved and learn lots from you!

Straight seams? I remember those. Such innocent times.

Embrace the leg twist George, you’ll soon be feeling morally superior like the rest of us and silently tutting at those poor souls with straight seams. Just wait until you discover selvedge too!

George- leg twist is a good thing for a lot of folks around here, try a 501 pre shrunk…This might help.

Hi guys new here hoping to find an answer to my nightmare. I've wasted hundreds of pounds on jeans over the last few years.
The best fitting pair I found was 501 with 5% poly but the Seam on the right leg kept moving round to the fron, so I tried a pair of 505's in a bigger size and the same thing happened. I went back to the 501 5% poly and tried a bigger size, fitted perfectly apart from the same issue happening again. Both my legs are the same size and doesn't happen with other jeans. I went into a shop today to try on a pair and could see the Seam is again far too close to my knee when crossed legged, but only seems to happen on the right one. I don't understand it, it can't be that they're too tight because the 505's are quite loose on me yet it happens with them. I feel cursed with this and can't find any other jeans that fit and I've tried many brands. Any advice or insight would be much appreciated. George |

Welcome! As Mr. Black said, it's pretty sleepy around here these days but I'm sure a few of us are checking in regularly.

Hello. Been lurking here a while. You all have great style.
Clothes are not a passion of mine, but I do enjoy well made things that look good. Found a lot of cool brands through this forum. But I try to keep my wardrobe light. Also really enjoy learning about the history of denim etc. through some of the posts on here. Currently wearing TCB 50's jeans and a Sugar Cane Type II jacket pretty much 24/7. |

Welcome gents. Good to have you all here. It's a bit quiet at the moment so some new life is most welcome.
