That's a great way to fade the Mulholland, JohnB.

Jacket has handled the 30 degree temperatures & snow very well for the last three days. It’s a very solid bit of kit.

Progress on my Lawrence Jacket. It’s had 8 weeks of winter sun & a couple of coats of conditioners & Smiths Leather Balm. |

Amazing what an effect 8weeks of winter sun has had, you would be lucky to get the same results from 8months of summer sun around my neck o' the woods.

Thanks Double 0. I was on West coast for 10 days last week and had to text Mrs B to ‘flip the jacket’ when I realized it had had 7 straight days on one side. I’m surprised by how quickly it’s tanned because it felt like my original Campus took much longer. Smiths Leather Balm from Maine definitely helps but it could be global warming!

Flippin is the key.. My first au naturel leather belt took years to tan.. eventually i left
it out in the sun on a holiday to Italy and it was tanned in a few hours but the leather got too hot and it sweated out little circles of
orangey-brown moisture which stained the belt, it wasn't until the belt
turned brown that they became unnoticeable again.
