Thanks very much, Neil. I based the sizing off measurements and tracings, and sent them through to Chris at Wesco. As well, I used the measurements and converted it with charts shown on bigblackboots.com whom I had first considered buying through. And yes, definitely the standard boss toe last. I'm in Australia so it makes it a bit harder too. Any advice on buckles? Thanks again for your help. |

I'm not familiar with how White's sizing goes so I'm not much of a help with cross referencing. I'd talk to Chris more about why he thinks you're between 13EEE and 14EE. Certainly wouldn't hurt to re-trace and re-measure your feet in the socks you plan to wear AND at the end of the day when your feet are their biggest. It does take some practice to get the tracings and measurements consistent.
Buckles - I think the nordic roller buckles look much better than the butterfly buckles or the Wesco branded ones. I'm partial to the brass and copper but depends on which leather you're using as well. |

Can't wait! I've had engineer boots in the past but just generic off-the-shelf Harley Davidson's and such. So looking forward to true made-to-order quality.

Lovely, a perfect reflection of your work environment. Ive saved my Brass engineers for 'best' ie ive never worn them I should really consider moving them on, or becoming a social butterfly... the aforementioned is probably more realistic.

Thanks, like all my clothing. Even had a oops moment on my right hand, being right handed too. Saying that, I would like to have a suit, but a ink spotted suit.....
