I have troubles dating this 70505-0217 jacket , with an orange tab Buttons stamp « 333 » Any idea ?

i have a similar jacket and i am pretty sure that these are european made and from the 1970s... interesting detail: the buttons look somehow different, as the tab do and is slightly elongated compared with the us versions. mine is raw, unwashed and i love the very slubby denim.

According to this link, the 333 button code indicated products made in the Dominican Republic. I’ve no idea if this is valid or not.

Shit- this is confusing, and it appears to be a different list than before?
According to the link above ( I read it wrong) it says 515 is made in USA But it also gives the 501 number as being made in USA....for years people have been saying That 501 button number is a Thai fake.... Paul T covers Thai fakes on his Loomstate blog Look that up for clarity on the subject. |

The link looks like it redirects you to another list, I remember the original link listing the
Numbers to certain factories- like 555 is Valencia street factory in SF....and other numbers For the San Antonio Texas Factory etc.... |

as far as have been able to gather: all the three digit numbers from 70's->early 2000's starting with 5 are US factories. As you said 555 for Valencia St. etc. 524 is also quite common
Then I have seen three digit codes starting at least with 2 and 3 |
