I think they're all LVC pairs bought in end of season sales but he doesn't wear them due to sizing errors

I would like to think they are price tags but in reality they probably state 'not for sale'.

I'm too short to have seen what the tags said, unfortunately. However, my jeans and jacket had similar white tags on them that just listed the info, so it doesn't necessarily mean that they weren't for sale.

I did notice those buckle-backs, but he finished sewing just as I really saw them and we walked over to the store right afterward. I noticed them, but at the time, it did not strike me that they had the arcs on them. That really should have made me take more notice, sorry Confused

If I had kept my wits and my Japanese was better, I probably could have found more information, sorry.

Even I did not notice that the button hole machine is a modern device, however. LOL

Dude, no apology necessary.
I thought they might probably be the pairs that Flash posted on page #13 of this thread.

The aspect l like about the WW2's is that you can just pretend that they had painted arcs, which have now faded out

That's what I'm thinking. I didn't see any in the store itself.

Yup, that's what I tell myself too :D Once I get mine worn enough it's like I took them off myselfWink

^^They're not only the 41's Doc, the pair on the left doesn't have a cinch at all.

My favourite would be... second pair from left Phwoar!!

Glad you enjoyed it, but man now I'm realizing that I really should have found out more about these.

Sounds like a good plan.

I'd like a pair myself eventually. I've never had buckle-back jeans.

@Charlie: you also get a pair of M-46?

Not so much the 'also', more of the 'instead of..'   Unhappy

The new pair arrived.

Changed my mind, decided to keep both pairs now

How much did you size up on the new pair? How about a fit comparison? Wink
