Thank you.  I wear a 31 in the FW47 and the fit is similar.  Looks like I'll go with a 33 in CSF if/when I do.  I'd hate to feel like an over stuffed sausage when tucking in a heavier shirt.

Size up 2" for a regular top block/hip which will have an oversize sloppy waistband.

...this is based on my 'racing snake' physique, im 5'11" and weigh 160ish im not carrying any weight or muscle. If you're carrying any weight you need to size up by more than 2" to give those same results.

That's why I sized up 3 for Conner's.

I'm a 33 in FW '51 and now I'm going to 36 in Conner's WWII.

I was thinking of that quote from you when I sized up from 35 to 36. As you can tell, I am carrying a little extra weight so I know I need the 36.

This thread and everyone who has given sizing advice has definitely been invaluable Smile

I think it's only the WW2 models which have this feature, not the pre or post WW2 models such as the 1941's or the 1st/2nd half 1946's.

The RMC WWII model is also held up by the hip with an oversized waistband, albeit not quite to the extent of CSF.

Ah yes of course, thanks flash.
Im sure i read that the FW47 cut was based on a 46 albeit without the insane detailing, might have been Duke who mentioned it.
I wouldn't mind a Devis-46.

Do you know what other cuts Devis made?
I watched a pair of NOS sell on Yahoo a couple of years ago for 25K but the photo,s were dark and the description was vague at best, all i could figure out.. they wasn't the 46.
