Hello denim bros, I just received a
Wrangler Blue Bell jacket (a 1947 repro) from Japan, which I bought from
Wrangler Japan through a proxy. I received the jacket yesterday, they
had packed it in a plastic envelope with zero cushioning and one of the
buttons broke off. It looks like a complete pain in the ass to get any
kind of help / replacement and I'm wondering if I wouldn't just be
better off keeping it and try to fix the button myself. I've looked
online for Wrangler replacement buttons but, alas, no such thing.
Thankfully the Wrangler buttons have remained pretty much unchanged
since 47 so I'm not giving up hope. One solution that I was considering
was buying a generic button online and replacing the generic cover with
the Wrangler cover that I would strip off the original button. Easier
said than done, I don't know if it has been done but might be worth a
try. Anyone out there who's run into a similar problem?
