Hey all, found this thread through google image search (i've been collecting elephant/tower bandanas for a home project) and ended up making a desktop background from one of the images posted... figured you may be interested.

Recently found this piece of eight uncut bandanas. They're only printed on one side, so I don't think thing the piece is too old, but its still looks pretty neat covering the top of the futon.

My first post here. Very cool stuff. Here's a Carhartt I found in a dresser drawer at the local antique mall. Paid $2 for it. Ended up selling it on eBay for over $300. The winning bidder seemed to be somehow connected with the J Crew company. Anyhow, here's some pix from back when I had a blog:

Even if it isn't really old  it's a really cool piece to have, good score.

Did some poking around and I'm nearly positive this is the record of the original elephant brand trademark!

Neat!

eBay finds!  They were reasonably priced, too, which is definitely not normal for vintage bandanas on eBay.
I make things out of leather.

Bandit found this -sticking out of my rich ore vein, I had struck months before. This isnt the first time that I've walked away from my spot.....To comeback months later and find a part of the ground slipped down exposing something I missed.... Thank goodness Bandit and Nonriveted found this before someone else did....This bandana was thrown away sometime in 1880, so it probably dates to the 1870's
