Late to the party, but I'll echo the chorus: Sorry to hear about the injury Neal! Hopefully the rebuilt finger is still able to fing in all the necessary ways.

Thanks Nick, i was pushing mini-soul on the swings last weekend when it swung back and hit the end of my finger, the pain nearly floored me, i had to leave kiddo in the park while i walked off and sweated it out on a nearby park bench, the other parents must have wondered what the flip was going on.
Good news is ive been discharged from the dressing clinic and started physio, they all seem very happy with the results/progress. This week, i'm teaching the new finger end about texture...

Had to go back a few pages to catch up Neal - I hope that injury hasn’t damaged your business any more than it has your hand. Speedy recovery mate

Thankfully Mike, i'm currently working on some ongoing R&D work for my best customer, they provide my materials and i bill them for my time at the end of each month. I explained the situation and they kindly offered to pay for all of my down time, hospital visits, ect..
The only caveat being 'get well soon' pretty damn nice of them!

Smoothsailor,

I remember that you had referred to your mom's illness in an earlier post, when you were kindly offering comfort to one of us who was struggling with bad news.  Even if it was a long time in coming, it doesn't make it any easier when the day finally arrives.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

Really sorry to hear that Smoothsailor, I know there’s nothing we can do to ease your loss other than try to send you positive vibes from our respective corners of the globe.
