Smoothsailor, I remember that you had referred to your mom's illness in an earlier post, when you were kindly offering comfort to one of us who was struggling with bad news. Even if it was a long time in coming, it doesn't make it any easier when the day finally arrives. I am truly sorry for your loss.

my mother passed away yesterday. She dealt with cancer 30+ yrs. She was strong .

Thankfully Mike, i'm currently working on some ongoing R&D work for
my best customer, they provide my materials and i bill them for my time
at the end of each month. I explained the situation and they kindly
offered to pay for all of my down time, hospital visits, ect.. The only caveat being 'get well soon' pretty damn nice of them!
