...here's some photos of my 'Standard Roll' Caribous.
Now semi retired. (apologies if I've posted these before?)

Arc's now look reasonably subtle.

They look great Maynard.

I keep looking at the AW denim - the more I look, the less the 'wings' put me off. A question on the back pockets, they seem wider and shallower than most - is that just an illusion created by the wings?

Thanks Duke, I just compared the back pockets on my Warehouse Warren (size 32) and SDA-101 (size 32) to my AW Buffalo (31), all worn and washed regularly and here are the measurements:

- Warehouse: 17cm wide (top) x 17cm deep (middle)
- SDA-101: 17.2cm wide x 15.5cm deep
- AW: 17.2cm wide x 16cm deep

I know that about 1.5-2 yrs ago Ande reduced the pocket dimensions all over, so if you look at older pairs, such as Ukeno's above on this page (mine are only a year old) the pockets will be bigger.

EDIT: I've updated the measurements so they make sense! It also reveals that there is no significant difference in size between the AW and the SDA.

Note to self: I shouldn't try to use my brain when I've just returned from a lunchtime run!

I'm a bit concerned about the sample size Maynard - that's only going give a rather wide confidence interval . . .

I do realise there must be endless variety of proportions but thanks for doing that comparison . . . I'm going to have another look at the AW site.

BTW, do you know the reason why Ande reduced pocket sizes?

Sorry Duke, I don't know the exact reason other than he must have thought they were too big, possibly some customer feedback suggested the same. The previous models were the first ones after the earthquake, when he had to start again from scratch, including patterns, so I assume the reduction was an organic type of adjustment when reassessing the cuts, patterns and general aesthetics.
