His style is great, and he looks like he's from our neck of the woods.

I would say so. I'm not sure if they are Navajo (Diné), Hopi, Pima, or one of the other Southwestern tribes. There was no accompanying text with the image, but I'm sure someone could figure it out based on her dress and the structure in the back. I will ask my Diné and Pima friends.

edit: I've been told they're Navajo, based off the style of her dress and the cradleboard she's holding.

Yes, I would bet money on a Southwestern peoples too. I think the structures in the back would be the key, but maybe her style of dress would help as well.
Similar baby holding contraption in an Edward Curtis photo (although I think this overall style is ubiquitous): “Mizheh and Babe,” portrait of an apache woman holding a child, 1906
And because Curtis had serious style of his own:

Yes! Curtis was awesome.  Controversies aside, the scale and scope of his work is truly incredible.  I have two prints of his photos, and a book or two.

A nice set of recently discovered photos from the 20s through 40s, via Arizona Highways.

Levi Strauss sign in Central Phoenix, AZ. Unsure of the date, though.
