Very nicely done, badseed! Thoughtful questions, all. I knew next to nothing about Lofgren before this, aside from the fact that he made beautiful period clothing.

Great interview and infos badseed, thanks very much for taking the time to do and to post Thumbs Up.
I love some of the stuff speedway does, unfortunately I always seem to 'miss the boat' on garments in my size.  Would have loved to have a couple more of those cushman sweatshirts in a large but sadly no Unhappy

"By the way, working in a raghouse taught me a lot about clothing and throw away fashion. In one day of sorting there would be a ten foot tall mountain of Ralph Lauren clothing, an even taller mountain of Tommy Hilfiger. The piles of classic clothing like Levis, Lee and Wrangler were tiny in comparison."

Interesting observation about the throw away fashion brands.

Not the classic clothing though.

John is of the States,i kinda wouldnt mind doing a follow up regarding the Tsunami and it impact on local industry and small run production.

I know the Speedway team worked around the clock in and for the local community when the  tragedy struck

Nice interview. I'm a big Lofgren fan. I've been thinking of contributing to this interview thread but I haven't interviewed anyone since 8th grade
