Great event at a nice venue. Here's some random shots I took this afternoon. All the vendors were really nice, lots of free stuff and some deep discounts.

Picked up a Freenote Cloth Indigo Gingham shirt.

Also picked up a Freenote Jepson Southwestern. Sold out now as it was a limited run of about 100 pieces.

Andrew also hooked me up with a couple of yards of the leftover Jepson fabric. Going to make some sofa cushions and a bandanna out of it.

Love the Jepson shirt. The Freenote guys are great folks and treat their customers very well.

For those who are still in the market for it, AB Fits still has it on sale. They're also nice 😀

First time at this event and it was a ton of fun!
My wallet it is a definitely lighter now.
Got to meet DarinS there as well!

I will make sure to make it back next year as well.

Had a blast. Dudewuttheheck and his companion are very nice folks, it was a pleasure to meet them. Got to chat with the Bradley Mountain crew, Susie from Crawford Denim, the Hot Rod Surf crew, Clarke from Moniker General and a host of others. All the vendors I spoke with expressed enthusiasm for the event and were quite pleased with the large turn out of attendees. Cars were parked all along the road side in and out of Pioneertown due to the numbers of denimheads in attendance. Free alcohol from Union Wine Company and Tin Cup Mountain Whiskey was a nice treat. This year was the first time the event was open to the public and it looks like it went very well.

Great seeing some denimbros at D&D this year. This was my third year at the event, and I decided to do another motorcycle trip down to Joshua Tree this year. Torrential rains early in the week screwed up that plan so I rented a one-way U-Haul truck, threw a couple motorcycles in the back and dropped it off in LA. Rode from LA -> JT, then JT -> Oakland. Went out on Highway 18 through Big Bear - beautiful ride but COLD as hell.

Had a blast at the event this year - always good to chat with ya dudewuttheheck. Juniper Ridge was really happy with the turnout this year - I think the scale was just about perfect, although it wouldn't hurt to have a couple fewer vendors.

The atmosphere and folks who show up is always the best part of that event. Spent a good amount of time with the Indigofera crew (who were kind enough to host me on the floor of their hotel room), Mike Hodis joined on the second day of the event with his amazing 1920s tent that made up his booth. Mark from Worn Over Time was selling his vintage jewelry, the Freenote guys were a raucous bunch as always. There's talk of having 2 days open to the public next year...can't wait to go again next year.

Had a small get-off on the way home, I-880 during rush hour - stop and go traffic. Had to make an emergency stop, lost traction on my front wheel and went down at 15-20mph. Minimal damage to the bike (it was rideable home) although I'm bruised up and spooked by the whole event. Unfortunate end to a long week on the road hanging out with some of my favorite folks, but it could have been a lot worse.

I'm sorry to hear about the accident, but I am very glad that you are OK!
It was great to talk with you as well, Neil. My fiance and I had an amazing time and can't wait to go back next year.

I was a little sad to find out that Indigofera was not selling anything at the event, but there's always denimbruin...

Thanks for the well wishes guys. Already got replacement parts (NOS ones at that!) but won't be able to get the bike repaired until after I return from a biz trip to Tokyo.
