Now anxiously awaiting delivery from Mr. Lofgren. I ordered the Wabash Polka Dot Work Shirt and the Black Pepper Neal Cassady Shirt. I'll post up some picks when they arrive even though I'm sure most of you know what they look like. This is actually my first direct purchase from Japan so I'm hoping it all goes smoothly. John has been very helpful and super quick to respond to emails so that part has been very easy at least.

You're going to be very happy with the Wabash shirt, assuming you sized correctly. I have that and the salt and pepper chambray and both are top notch quality.

I've neer had a problem with shipping from Johm so here's hoping it goes just as smoothly for you.

I normally take an L in LVC  shirts and I take and XXL in Lofgren shirts...if cold soaked they measure about 23 - 23.5 in the chest. I have the Wabash dot print one and it's slim fitting. One of the best shirts around for the price. I've been thinking about getting one of these:

Holy crap, that puts to bed my idea of what size I would need. I am a M in LVC and was going to go for a size L Lofgren salt & pepper chambray

Have you folks experienced much shrinking in cold water? I cold wash and hang dry everything but my lingerie.

John told me the Wabash was a one wash already and should not shrink if cold washed/hang dried, which is what he recommends. The Neal Cassady is raw but starts out about an inch or so bigger and will shrink about .5-1" with a wash. He said length wise they don't shrink much at all.

anyone tried to hot wash a Lofgren shirt yet? I once bought a used Lofgren shirt in my regular Japanese size and it was too short (length wise and sleeves). The dimensions on the speedway shop are however correct for my size so I figure the previous owner hot washed the shirt? (or threw it in the dryer)
